Hey there, I’m Amanda Leigh!

Most days you can find me at the beach with my English Bulldog Harley or at a yoga class.

I am most known for my event styling, big braids and soft feminine updos with a love of creating sun kissed balayage and beachy hair. After 15 years of doing hair, I’ve become passionate about letting the hair speak to me and tell me what it wants so I can create a custom look for each person. I want anyone who sits in my chair to feel confident and beautiful in their own body.

1: I love arranging flowers, if I wasn’t a hairstylist I would be a florist

2: I have so many plants at home they bring me so much joy! When the weather is warm I love working in my garden outside growing herbs and veggies.

3: I lived in Brazil like 10 years ago so I’m always excited to use my portuguese when I get the chance

4: I love to travel! Last year I went to Portugal and Morocco. 2025 I’m planning my first trips to Italy and Japan 

5: When I’m not in the salon I try to get to the beach any chance I can get to go for a swim. El Matador is my favorite beach!

Consultation

Complimentary 15 minutes scheduled to get to know each other better, talk and create a plan for future hair services. New color clients will have a virtual consultation prior to the appointment time, please email amandaleighhair@gmail.com with your full name, a picture of your hair and an inspiration picture.

Base Color:

For new growth touch-ups on brunettes, redheads or gray coverage. Not recommended for platinum blonde or highlighted hair.

A single color applied to the roots: $130; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.
A single color applied to the roots and pulled through the ends or gloss: $160; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Highlight or Balayage:

For a sun-kissed glow with depth and movement.

Mini: For less than two months of new growth wanting a hairline blend & toner. $130; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Partial: For less than three months of new growth. $290; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Full: For more than three months of new growth or wanting an impactful change. $360; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Platinum Touch-Up:

For six or fewer weeks of new growth on current platinum hair. $290; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Toner:

A demi-permanent color used to refresh current color, add shine and increase UV protection. Perfect for in between color services, before an event or a vacation. This is often referred to as a gloss, glaze or toner. $100; leaving damp or add a blow dry to service $100.

Color Transformation:

For any major change including brunette to blonde, blonde to brunette, first-time platinum or platinum with more than six weeks of new growth. 3-6 hours, $130 an hour.

Haircut:

Long Haircut - length below ears in the style of your choice: $160

Short Haircut - length above ears, think “pixies”: $100

Bang Trim: a trim on existing bangs: $32

Styling:

Turn heads at your next event with beautifully styled hair. For best results please come with clean, dry hair - price does not include wash & blow dry.

Event Styling: $130

Bridal Styling - in salon: $195; check out my bridal portfolio.

Blow Out - a wash and blow dry with light iron work: $100

Treatments:

Conditioning Treatment: an express add-on Olaplex treatment to any service adding moisture and shine: $42

Scalp Treatment: an add-on treatment to remove product buildup and oils from the hair and scalp or soothe a dry, flaky scalp. $42

Policies

Cancellation Policy:

I understand that unforeseen conflicts may arise and rescheduling is sometimes necessary. You may reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before the start of your appointment. If you reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of its start time you will be charged 50% of the price of your appointment. If you do need to reschedule or cancel, please contact me at amandaleighhair@gmail.com.

Please be aware that arriving 15 minutes or later to your appointment time may result in a shorter service without price reduction. Later than 15 minutes or no-show will result in full service price charged to your card on file.

Service Adjustment:

It is my desire that any client of mine leaving the salon will be satisfied with their service results based on our consultation, goals, integrity of hair and preplanning future appointments for large color changes. I would love to offer solutions to ensure your happiness. Booking Policy:

All appointments are booked, rescheduled or canceled directly through me or using my secure online booking site.

Summer Hours is a host salon for Independent Stylists; meaning Summer Hours does not have direct access to stylists booking sites or client's information. By hosting Independent Stylists they provide an environment for stylists to work and amenities for clients experience. All bookings and inquiries should be directed towards stylists.
