New Client Guide

This page will guide you through selecting a stylist, choosing your service and booking your first appointment so that you feel confident through the entire process.

Find the stylist who’s right for you.

Selecting the stylist who best suits your personality and hair needs is the first step to achieving awesome, expectation-exceeding hair and beginning a lasting stylist-client relationship.

You can get to know our stylists through their bio pages, linked below. There you’ll learn about their industry experience, lives, what hair types they prefer to work with and more. Amanda, Rebecca, Darla, Katie & Belinda. and are all seasoned professionals, so the key to deciding between them could be as simple as discovering who you’d enjoy spending time with during your service! You can also follow our stylists on social media to get a better sense of their personal aesthetics and personalities.

Decide on your service.

You may be able to picture your desired result in your head but knowing exactly what to ask for will simplify booking and help your stylist see your vision. Identify the service you need using this cheat-sheet and you’ll be well on your way to flaunt-worthy hair. Or reach out to directly to your stylist for a virtual consultation prior to booking!

COLOR

Full or Partial Highlight

Balayage, ombre, babylights, teasy-lights, money-piece are all highlights you may have heard of. General rule of thumb; if you want to go lighter in any way you need to book as a “highlight”.

Mini = an express touch-up for clients with less than 2 months of growth.

Partial = half head of highlights; ideal for clients with less than 3 months of growth.

Full = most impactful results; ideal for clients with more than 3 months of growth.

Base Color

This is for clients who want to be one color, all over. Example: copper, brunette, covering those pesky grays, etc.

Toner

Gloss and toner are frequently used words when discussing toners. This is a refreshment service most used on blondes or to subtly refresh ends and add shine.

CUT

Bang Trim

A bang trim is for existing clients with bangs. If you don’t currently have bangs but would like to, please reach out to your stylist for their booking protocol as cutting new bangs requires additional time.

Short Haircut

Any above-the-ear cut.

Long Haircut

Any cut below the ear—this includes bobs, lobs, some pixie haircuts and any time you’re wanting to make a chop going from long to short.

Dry Haircut
An express hair trim on clean, dry hair with length below the ear.

Please note that new color clients may need to book a consultation with your stylist to determine how much time and which products will be necessary to achieve your desired look. Check their stylist page to see New Client policies!
